Welcome to Zaviyar Hayat Group. We’re genuinely happy you’re here. Whether you’re a job seeker looking for that perfect opportunity in Dubai, a recruiter hiring talent in Riyadh, or an employer building your team in Kuwait, we want you to feel confident and secure when you use our platform.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. It’s written to be as clear and straightforward as possible—because legal jargon shouldn’t be a second language. Please take a few minutes to read it, and if you have any questions, we’re just an email away.
What Information We Collect (And Why)
The information we collect falls into two main categories: (a) information you actively give us, and (b) information we automatically collect as you use our Site.
A. Information You Give Us (The “You Came to Us” Stuff)
This is the most important category—it’s the information you choose to share with us to use our services.
Account Information: When you create an account, we ask for your name, email address, and a password. This is the basic stuff we need to create and protect your profile.
Profile Information: To help you find the right job or candidate, you can choose to add more details like your phone number, nationality, current location (e.g., “Based in Abu Dhabi”), work experience, education history, skills, languages, and a profile photo.
Your CV/Resume: This is the big one. When you upload your CV, you’re sharing your professional story with us and potential employers. Your CV may contain detailed work history, education dates, and other professional information. We treat your CV with extra care—it’s the heart of your job search.
Job Applications: When you click “Apply,” we collect the information in your application and share it with the employer who posted the job.
Employer Information: If you’re an employer or recruiter, we collect your company name, contact details, billing information (processed securely by our payment partners), and the content of your job postings.
B. Information We Collect Automatically (The “Behind the Scenes” Stuff)
Like most websites, we automatically collect some technical information when you visit. This helps us understand how people use the Site so we can make it better.
Log Data: This includes your IP address, browser type, operating system, the pages you visit on our Site, the time and date of your visit, and the website you came from (the “referring URL”).
Device Information: Information about the device you’re using, such as the device model and mobile network (if you’re on a phone).
Usage Data: How you interact with our Site—which jobs you click on, which search results you view, how long you spend on certain pages.
How We Share Your Information
We take this part very seriously. We do not and will never sell your personal information to third parties. Not now, not ever. It’s not our business model.
Here’s who we do share your information with and why:
With Employers (for Job Seekers): This is the core of our service. When you apply for a job or make your profile visible to recruiters, your information (including your CV) is shared with the employer or recruiter who posted the job. They may be located anywhere in the GCC. We are not responsible for how they handle your information once they receive it (though we require them to agree to use it only for recruitment—see our Terms).
With Service Providers: We work with trusted third-party companies that help us run our business, such as:
Cloud Hosting Providers: To store your data securely (e.g., servers located in the GCC or globally).
Payment Processors: To handle job posting payments securely. We do not store your full payment details.
Analytics Providers: Like Google Analytics, to help us understand how people use our Site.
Email Service Providers: To send you job alerts and service messages.
For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, or legal request (such as a court order or government agency) in any GCC country where we operate.
In Case of Business Transfer: If Zaviyar Hayat Group is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice on our Site of any change in ownership or use of your personal information.
Google AdSense and Advertising Partners
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on our Site. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our Site and/or other websites on the internet. This is called “interest-based advertising.”
How it works: These cookies allow Google and its partners to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant ads across the web.
Your Choices:
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings.
You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ uses of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.
We do not control these cookies. You should check the respective privacy policies of these advertising partners for more information.
Why We Collect This Information
We use the information we collect for specific, legitimate reasons. Here’s the breakdown:
To Provide and Improve Our Services: This is the main reason. We use your information to:
Create and manage your account.
Allow job seekers to build profiles and apply for jobs.
Allow employers to post jobs and search for candidates.
Personalize your experience (e.g., showing you jobs relevant to your skills and location in the GCC).
Analyze how our Site is used so we can fix bugs, improve design, and add new features.
To Communicate With You: We may send you:
Service-related emails (e.g., confirmation of a job application, password reset requests).
Job alerts based on your saved searches (you can turn these off anytime).
Responses to your inquiries when you contact us.
For Security and Fraud Prevention: We use information to:
Protect against unauthorized or illegal activity.
Investigate and prevent spam, scams, and fraudulent job postings—a top priority for us.
For Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, court orders, or other legal processes in the GCC countries where we operate.
To Show Ads (This is the AdSense Part): We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on our Site. Google and other ad networks may use cookies and similar technologies to serve you relevant ads based on your browsing history. This helps us keep our services free for job seekers. For more details, see Section 7 on Cookies and Section 10 on Ad Partners.
Your Rights and Choices
We believe you should have control over your information. Depending on your location and applicable law (like the UAE PDPL or Saudi PDPL), you may have the following rights:
Access: You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Correction: You can update or correct inaccurate information. (You can also do most of this yourself by editing your profile!)
Deletion: You can request that we delete your personal information. We’ll comply unless we need to retain it for legal reasons (like record-keeping requirements).
Objection / Restriction: You can object to how we use your data or ask us to restrict processing in certain circumstances.
Data Portability: In some cases, you can request a copy of your data in a structured, commonly used format.
Withdraw Consent: If we rely on your consent to process your data (e.g., for marketing emails), you can withdraw that consent at any time.
How to Exercise Your Rights: Simply email us at info@zaviyarhayatgroup.com with your request. We’ll respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (typically 30 days). We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.
Data Security
Protecting your information isn’t just a legal requirement—it’s a promise. We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information, including:
Encryption: We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt data transmitted between your browser and our servers. Look for the padlock icon in your browser’s address bar!
Access Controls: We restrict access to personal information to our employees and contractors who need it to perform their job functions.
Regular Reviews: We regularly review our information collection, storage, and processing practices to prevent unauthorized access.
No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, however. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Children's Privacy
Our Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
The world of technology and data protection evolves, and so might we. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or the GCC regulatory landscape.
If we make material changes, we will notify you by email (sent to the email address specified in your account) or by posting a prominent notice on our Site prior to the change becoming effective. We’ll also update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information.
